Moving to Tumblr?

I haven't really posted on here that much and don't really know what to post. I might disable this blog and move to a Tumblr and use that for a collection of my random thoughts, random photos, and also link it to my Twitter.

Note to self about Blogger app

Do not try to post links on blog posts using the Blogger app. Too difficult to check if you typed the link correctly on a phone..

Been Awhile

Haven't really blogged on here since I don't really know what to blog about nowadays.

I've been using Twitter a lot lately to post mostly tech news, links and a bunch of random stuff. So follow me on Twitter, I've finally made it public! @paulurbano

I have a Wordpress blog too but I've been using that for my photography. Currently I'm just uploading straight from my Flickr because I don't know what to do with that site yet.

I installed the Blogger app on my phone, so I'll try to post more on here. Til then, take care!

Blogger and WordPress

I'm pretty sure many of you know this already but I am a Google fanboy. Gmail, Google Reader, Google Calendar, Google Voice, Google Docs, and Blogger are the majority of the sites that I always go to daily; with the other sites being Facebook, Flickr, and (recently) Twitter. (I mostly read everything else through Google Reader.) So that's why I've been using Blogger for my blog. However, I've heard and read many good things about WordPress and many of my best friends already use WordPress as their main blogging platform.

Recently I've read an article about what Photographers need to know about Social Media, and it talked about the skills they need to know (besides taking good photos) and one of them was about blogs and how they help others to get to you know you and your photography. My blog here is a Photo Journal (and random thoughts) and most of the photos have been uploaded via my beloved Blackberry 9000, though the camera on it is crap. I do have a Flickr and I think it is a great way to showcase my photos I've taken but doesn't really show what my photography is about...

HAHA. So, I actually don't know what point I was getting at with this post.. I think I just felt like typing random thoughts right now.. But basically I've been thinking about making a WordPress but didn't really know what I would use it for. And after I read that article, I thought I could do a blog about my photography but now realize that I don't really know what I would blog about, especially since I probably wouldn't try to start a business in photography.. Lol.

So yeah, sorry that you read all this for nothing.. I might still make a WordPress eventually but I don't know what for yet.. I guess now you know that I love Google and I guess I kinda used this post to try to make more people view my Flickr page. =P
